Fastest sprinter in the Tour completes a hat-trick!
Another classic finish as the Tour hurtled at top speed into the centre of Narbonne today. Mark Cavendish crossed the line first, which means he’s won more stages in a single Tour than anyone else from the UK. I knew he’d do it, but I didn’t know he’d do it so soon after Saturday’s awesome display of power. The big question now: Can he make it over the Alps? A freak accident made the Pyrennees tough going, and he had to dig deep today. I’d love to see him storming round the Champs-Élysées — if he gets there, he’ll win the final stage too.
