Fastest sprinter in the Tour

Mark Cavendish left the other sprinters for dead today, winning his second stage of this year’s Tour.
This impressed me too:
And after the race he confirmed his intention to complete this year’s Tour before joining his GB Olympics team-mates at their track training camp.
“I’m okay and I will keep going for as long as I can,” said Cavendish.
Anyone remember Mario Cipollini heading home after the first week of the tour? I reckon Cavendish is chasing a hat-trick
